What is Trendo?

Trendo is an AI personal stylist for the clothes you already own. You photograph your wardrobe, and Trendo suggests outfits, checks whether an outfit works, and shows you how it looks on a full-length image of you.

Does Trendo really show clothes on me?

Yes, with one honest qualification. Trendo generates a full-length image of you from a photo you provide — preserving your face and proportions — and renders outfits from your wardrobe onto that image.

It's an AI-generated image of you, not a filter over your original photo and not a stock model. It's a strong preview of how something looks, but it's an approximation, so it won't predict exact drape or fit.

What does the outfit check actually tell me?

You get scores across several separate dimensions — coherence, fit, occasion suitability, weather suitability, and silhouette balance — plus a written explanation and specific suggestions.

Trendo will tell you when an outfit doesn't work. It's built to be honest rather than encouraging, because agreeable advice isn't useful.

Do I have to photograph everything I own?

No. Start with ten or fifteen things you actually wear. Trendo works from whatever is in there and gets better as you add, and there's no requirement to do it all at once.

Is Trendo free?

Trendo Free includes the digital wardrobe, outfit checks and wardrobe-based suggestions, with space for up to 250 wardrobe items and up to 50 AI clothing scans each month, and no expiring trial period. Trendo Pro adds virtual try-on, more detailed feedback and space for up to 750 wardrobe items. Current pricing and subscription terms are shown in the App Store.

Is Trendo just for women?

No. Trendo works from the individual wardrobe, preferences and context provided rather than assuming one default way of dressing.

Which phones does Trendo work on?

Trendo is preparing for release on iPhone. An Android version is in testing.

What happens to my photos?

They're used to give you feedback and to build your wardrobe. They're private to your account and aren't shown to other users. You can delete your account from within the app.

Can Trendo tell me what to buy?

Trendo begins with the clothes already in your digital wardrobe. Where shopping features are available, retailer products, affiliate links and sponsored recommendations are clearly identified.

What can't Trendo do?

It judges from photographs, so it can't assess fabric, quality or condition. It doesn't know context you haven't given it — an unwritten dress code, what everyone else will be wearing. And its verdict is an opinion. If you love an outfit it disagrees with, wear it.
